George Finch Mason

George Finch Mason, peintre, écrivain et illustrateur spécialisé dans le monde du sport, est particulièrement renommé pour ses dessins d’humour et ses caricatures.

Son père était professeur à Eton et il y fit ses études de 1860 à 1864. Il a illustré de nombreux livres, notamment Humours of the Hunting Field (1886), Flowers of the Hunt (1889), The White Hart and other Stories (1891), The Run of the Season (1902), et Heroes and Heroines of the Grand National (1907 and 1911).

Il publiait aussi ses caricatures dans The Sporting Times et Punch.
